Sleepvirtual exhibits in the 5th Sleep Conference in Iran

The 5th National Congress on Sleep Disorders was hosted by the Iranian Sleep Medicine Society which took place at the Imam Khomeini Hospital in the city of Tehran from May 03 – 05, 2011.

Sleepvirtual was able to attend and present the line of products, the BWII PSG. Some themes of the conference were: Sleep disturbance and occupational accidents, Methods of drug therapy and no pharmacologic insomnia, the important role of surgery in the ear, nose and throat to treat snoring and obstructive apnea, Sleep Lab Standards, CPAP & CPAP titration, Methods of diagnosis, analysis and interpretation of respiratory disorders.

Daily events included keynote addresses by renowned Iranian clinicians and scientists from all over Iran; thematic oral and poster presentations; workshops, symposia, and a variety of medical exhibitions.

The organizers endeavored to provide an environment appropriate and sensitive to the cultural and traditional needs of students and other delegates.

Sleepvirtual’s distributor in Iran, Behestan Darman, exhibited information about both the BWII PSG and BWII EEG at the Exhibition. Both systems generated a great deal of interest by the doctors and other participants during the conference.

Rodrigo Abreu, Sleepvirtual’s Operational Manager had an opportunity to present the workshop “Practices to improve the PSG study quality” to the congress attendees.
