Sleepvirtual will be sponsoring the WASM 2011 from September 10-14, 2011 and would like to invite the Sleep Community to also participate in the World Association of Sleep Medicine conference in Quebec, Canada.
WASM and CSS will provide an educational forum aiming to advance current thinking, improve health and encourage prevention and treatment of sleep disorders worldwide. The 4th International WASM Congress and the 5th CSS Congress will bring together leading experts to discuss and disseminate clinical knowledge amongst sleep clinicians and researches in the global advancement of sleep medicine. Greetings,
The number of individuals sending me information and volunteering has increased. It does take me a while to sort and create, but progress has been made. Creating a new entity is an endeavor which will be time consuming, some goals/actions will take longer to achieve than others.
The first, and probably the most important step, is allowing or providing the free flow of information and interaction between sleep technologist and therapist. I spoke about this in Denver at last year’s BRPT symposium. I summed up my presentation by telling the audience, “With social media, you now have the ability to promote yourself, your business, your organization, or anything else you want to promote. Facebook may be a toy, but it is also a tool. And it’s free; all you have to do is find the time”.

Sleepvirtual recently attended SLEEP 2011 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota from Saturday, June 11 – Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
