Employment Opportunities

Sleep Tech Tip of the Week
By Michael Miller, RPSGT

When visiting sleep labs, I often get asked “do you know of anyone who is hiring sleep technologists?” or “where can I find qualified sleep professionals to staff my lab?” I answer by listing a few websites where they can either search for employment opportunities or post employment opportunities. Due to the frequency at which I receive this line of questioning, I felt that it was a suitable topic for this week’s sleep tech tip of the week. Below, I have listed a mixture of websites that I have used in the past to search and post job openings:

These websites are but a few of the sources available to aid sleep professionals in their pursuit of finding employment or for finding new employees. Other resources include but are not limited to local area hospital websites, state and local sleep society websites, local independent diagnostic testing facility websites, social media group pages such as Facebook, and sleep education companies’ websites such as  www.sleep-health.com . Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at mmiller@neurovirtual.com or at (786)266-6600) with any possible employment resources that I have missed or failed to mention.
